Tips for returning guests - email changed? unable to make it this year?
If you attended last year as member we know you are excited to come again. Tickets for Phase 1 (members last year) go on sale about 1 month before the event, and you will receive an email a few days before this. In the meantime there are a couple of things you can do.
1. Update your email
If you have changed your email it is important that you update this on our system. You can change your email by logging in, clicking on Members Access, and clicking on My Page > Edit my Profile. Once here you need to double click on the box to change it. Generally double clicking cannot be done on phones or tablets, so it may only be possible to do this, for most people, on a computer. Once you have made the email change, click out of the box and it should flash green for a second to indicate that the change has been made. 2. Sponsoring a friend
It's not too early to think about who you will sponsor to become a member to this year's event. A sponsored person is someone different from your guest. They get the opportunity to buy a ticket in Phase 2 (and also bring a guest).
Please note that your guest from last year is not automatically sponsored.
You sponsor someone when you are purchasing a ticket, so this won't happen until one month before the event. We will add a blog post assiting you with this closer to the ticket sales date.
3. Absent this year, but want to stay on the Phase 1 list?
If you can’t go this year, there is a way to remain on Phase 1. You can register as absent, but you do this when tickets go on sale.
When tickets go on sale, click on the link in your invite email and start to register. There is a big tick box that asks if you will be absent. Select this and continue the registration. You will need to pay the yearly membership fee to remain. This will allow you to stay on the Phase 1 list.
Unfortunately you cannot send someone in your place instead of you but, as you register as absent you can also sponsor someone which will invite them to become a member and buy their ticket in Phase 2. See above for more information about Sponsoring.
4. Not a member ... yet?
Everyone on the Waiting List is not yet a member, but you become a member when you buy your tickets. Tickets for people on the Waiting List (Phase 3) go on sale about 3 weeks before the event.
