Phase 1 Invites out this week!









 
In the next few days Phase 1 invites will be going out. Phase 1 is for members that attended last year. A Member is the person that brought the ticket last year (not the guest or the +1).

Here is a few things you need to know.

 
Make sure your email address is up-to-date
Here's how to change it:
  • Log in using your old email/password
  • Go to the Members Access
  • Hover over "My Page" and under will appear "Edit my Page"
  • Double click on your email, add the new email
  • The box should turn green to indicate the change
Transport Locations for 2014 Confirmed
In order to keep the location of the event a secret right until the last minute, we ask guests to meet at the following locations where you will then be taken by bus to the secret location. It's very exciting!
 
The other guests on your bus will also be those you sit with in a long table arrangement on the night. If you would like to sit with friends, you will all need to select the same Group Leader (and transport location) then the same Table Leader. It's best to prearrange this - but note - once a sub-group is full, we can not add more people. It is first come, first served. We also can not swap people to other sub-groups.
 
Please note in order to scatter arrival times there are different meeting times depending on your transport location. These are shown in brackets below.
Each sub-group is clearly labelled by your transport location and Table Leaders name. For example Adelaide Street – Birgit.

As an example if you would like to meet your group and depart to the secret location with your friends from New Farm Park you should all choose -
Step 1. Group Leader: Louise (with New Farm Park as the transport location),
Step 2. Table Leader: Claudia
 
It's best to work this out before you register, so start talking with your friends today!

Please take into consideration walking distances (of up to 600m) from the set down of buses to the venue when preparing your outfit and picnic ware.

Note: These locations were selected due to their central locality. We listened to your feedback from previous years that you would prefer to meet in proximity to lots of public transport and away from the suburbs and paid shopping centre car parks. This is why some locations last year, will not be used again this year.
How to Sponsor a Guest 
As a member from last year you are able to sponsor a friend to become a member. You will be able to do this when you buy you ticket. Your friend will be invited in Phase 2. To try and get a spot together, make sure you tell your sponsored friend what Transport Location and sub-group you selected, however you will not be guaranteed to sit with your sponsored friend, as your Table Leader/sub-group may sell out in Phase 1.  



Absentee 
If you will be absent from this year's event, but still want to be invited in 2015, make sure you register as absent. To do this, you need to click on the link in your email (when tickets are open), enter your details in and click the box saying you will be an absentee. You will pay the $5 membership fee, and stay on the Phase 1 list for 2015.
