Missing your email invite?

Missing your email invite? All invites have been sent for 2015. If you are missing yours, it's not because we don't love you. The following may help you figure out what to do.
 
But after trying all of the relevant tasks, if you still don't have your email, please contact us ASAP (via Facebook, or commenting on this news blog). Phase 3 tickets go on sale on Tuesday at 9am, and we may sell out very quickly. You don't want to miss out.
 
1. Guests

Firstly, if you attended as a "guest" last year, you won't receive an invite. It's only "Members" that receive Phase 1 invites. "Members" are the attendees who purchased the tickets last year or registered as absent last year, and will still have a log in. "Guests" are the attendees who went with them. The tradition of Diner en Blanc is that you come along and bring a friend, just like the first one in Paris over 28 years ago.
If you were a guest last year and want to become a member this year, ask the person you attended with to sponsor you, and you will be invited in Phase 2, and will become a member. Members please note your guests from last year is not automatically sponsored. If you have already purchased your ticket you can sponsor someone by logging in and going to My Friends>My Friends and entering in their details. You can change this person up until these invites are sent out (by us). Once we have sent these invites out, you cannot withdraw the sponsored person.

2. Junk email

If you are a Member and can't find your email invite firstly check your junk (our emails seem to very frequently hide in your junk). 

3. Your email address

Double check all of the emails you would have used in the last year. If you've been using an old email address and you can no longer access that email then you will need to contact us and get us to resend you invite to your new email. We prefer you use your personal email, rather than your work email - it's less likely to change.

If you do find your email, please make sure you are logged out when you go to click on the direct link and purchase your ticket.

4. Phase 2 email invites

If you are expecting to be sponsored you will be invited as part of Phase 2. These invites are sent out a few days before the registration opens. The phase dates are here (under Option 2).

Phase 2 invites have been sent for our 2015 event. If you haven't received yours please try points 1 and 2. Also ask the person who sponsored you to check they have your email correct.

Phase 1 members, if you have the Sponsored person's email incorrect go to My Friends>My Friends. "Withdraw" the person and re-enter in their correct details. An email will not be sent automatically, we have to send these in batches. If you are worried about how close it is getting to selling out, we are happy for you to "nudge" us by posting on Facebook, or commenting on this blog.

5. Waiting List (Phase 3)
 
If you are on the Waiting List you will be invited in Phase 3. Your email invites will be sent a few days before your phase opens. The phase dates are here (under Option 2).

Phase 3 invites have been sent for our 2015 event. 
We ensure that there are places available in Phase 3, but there is not a spot for everyone on the Waiting List. It is first come, first served - so get in quick! Just like the tips above please make sure you check your junk and remember what email you would have used to register. If you are using a different email now, you don't need to contact us - instead add your new email to our Waiting List. We have some very helpful tips for Phase 3 guests, we suggest you check them out

6. A member from another city 

​ If you attended another Diner en Blanc in another city and are a member in that city, your membership is not transferable between cities. Please put your name on our Waiting List

7. Still having trouble?   

We recommend registering on a computer with a Chrome or Firefox browser. Other tablets and smartphone can also work, but the screen resolution does not get automatically resized for these smaller screens. Microsoft Tablets are not supported. We also suggest to clear cookies, empty cache, try a different browser, on a different device. 

8. Issues paying   

Tickets are paid for via PayPal. Any PayPal issues are out of our control. Make sure you try to pay using a Chrome or Firefox browser.
 
If a credit card payment is not accepted and the above has been tried, then we suggest to try with a different credit card. After 3 different credit cards PayPal will probably block the user. When a credit card is not accepted we cannot do anything, you will have to contact PayPal (details here) or your credit card company. We have heard from other cities that some specific credit cards may not work with PayPal (system compatibility issues).
